Family Night #5: Bunny Night

We started off the evening going to a local pet shop that featured a petting zoo.
Emma instantly fell in love with this fuzzy yellow chick. Notice her hands in the following photos...

The 45 lb bunny. Probably doesn't do too much hoppin'.

The cutest lamb ever...

Emma wanted to bring that chick home with us.
We came home and did some Bunny crafts, door-sign, dot-to-dots, coloring pages....

Then, we ate Bunny Dinner. What do bunnies have for dinner, you may be asking yourself....
These bunnies ate salad and carrot soup. Bunny cupcakes for dessert.

The most exciting event by far was the flashlight Easter egg hunt. The event starts at sunset and the children bring flashlights. They only allow a set number of participants and they hid the eggs (as opposed to scattering them over a baseball field). Emma was delighted.

At the end of the night, a newspaper photographer asked if he could take Emma's picture. When he walked away, Emma said, Mommy, was that a paparazzi? I told her that he sure was. She smiled and said, Wow, I can't believe a paparazzi just took my picture. Wonder if there are any more?
HA!
